Cuba Country Study
WALT: gain an understanding of the settings in the novel.
The first Cuba slide will be about 'Where Cuba is on the map'. Cuba is based in the Northern Caribbean. The next slide is about Traditional Cuban Food and that gives a few examples of traditional Cuban food. The next slide is about The most popular sports in Cuba. The next are about the Cuban Flag, The Capital of Cuba, Cuba's Currency, Cuba's Population, and the Climate in Cuba.
Would you like to visit Cuba? If so, would you visit the Capital, Havana?

hi Ella. You have researched well about Cuba. It sounds like and interesting place to visit. I think it would be cool to visit there and yes I would visit Havana.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Ella, I've really enjoyed reading through your slide and blog post. I would love to visit Cuba one day, especially Havana. I would really like to see the colourful houses that line the coast in Havana, even more so after reading chapter 2, because it's Isabel's favourite place in Cuba. I would really like to hear the music, and see the beautiful culture and scenery in Cuba.

DeleteI would visit Germany because of their historic buildings and their history. I would love to go see the Brandenburg Gate too.
If I visited Cuba, I would visit Havana and see the culture and the way they live. I would also like to hear their music too.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your blog post I think it was excellent, I liked your facts, and I think that you explained it well. If I went to Cuba I would definitely visit Havana to see all the colourful houses, the old cars and most of all the El Capitolio building. I also want so see the Brandenburg gate in Germany. I also like Cuba because of the warm temperatures year-round, but summer might be too hot. What country out of Germany, Syria or Cuba would you visit? What was your favourite country to learn about?
